NOIRET   $7 per Vine

Noiret produces an excellent full-bodied, richly colored wine. The wines can resemble Shiraz (Syrah) with a distinct black pepper character, moderate tannins, and notes of raspberry, blackberry and mint. Vines are vigorous and productive in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Fruit maturity is mid to late season. Pair Noiret wines with beef, pasta, and sharp cheeses.

TRAMINETTE   $6 per Vine

A Gewurztraminer hybrid that produces excellent wines similar to Gewurztraminer with much more winter hardiness than its parent. Typically, wines made with some skin contact have strong spice and floral aromas, a full structure, and long aftertaste. Wine can be made dry or sweet, but is usually finished with some residual sugar. Varietal descriptors include floral, spicy, perfume and lavendar. Wines pair well with spicy Asian or Thai cuisine.

CATAWBA   $4 per Vine

Catawba is a spicy flavored, red slip-skin grape. Clusters are medium to large and well formed, fruit is medium sized, round and purplish red with a distinctive flavor. The flavor is both vinous and slightly foxy. Catawba is a very good table grape, excellent for jams and jellies, and often used for wine and sweet sparkling wine. Catawba has been grown in the eastern United States for over 150 years and was the major variety used for winemaking in Ohio prior to prohibition.

Baco is an extremely vigorous variety that is best grown on heavy soils. Its fruit is usually high in acid, producing wines of good quality that are deeply pigmented and fruit forward, with aromas of black fruits and caramel. Baco wine has been described as rustic, pairing well with red meat dishes, BBQ ribs, and goat cheese.
